Day 20: Thursday 12 April (6pm, Ayr)
Yes, it was a pretty normal 'business as usual' type of day today.
I continued to make some good progress on the RAP, so I’m feeling like it may come together before I leave after all! Still being no sign of a board meeting to discuss it (Murri time J).
The deck is coming along nicely and the painting should be finished by the end of next week. Here’s a progress photo to admire. You might just be able to make out Michaela's Dad, Jardine painting it, at the far end.
Dinner last night was so good that we're getting together again tonight - Ray and the Crown Prosecutor (Colleen) are great company and Ray cooks a mean steak in onion gravy! He's even shared the recipe with me (secret vinegar trick and all!) so I'll share it with Steve, and then I might stand a chance of enjoying it at home one day too!
Nothing unusual or surprising worth mentioning, so I thought I would finish this log by sharing some photos of the more geographically based signage that I’ve been amassing. Not as amusing as I was hoping, but I sure don’t get to see these around the streets of Sydney …
